MUSIC OF GERSHWINThe seniors will be going to Lindenwood Christian Church on Sunday afternoon, May 6 at 4:00 in the afternoon for a program featuring the nationally acclaimed Gary Beared Chorale and titled the
Music of Gershwin and Friends.
These friends include Rodgers and Hart & Cole Porter. Transportation will be provided. There is a sign-up sheet in the fellowship Hall, or please call Donna Wilhite for more information.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETINGA meeting of the Congregation is tentatively called to meet after worship on Sunday April 22. Assuming that the Session has a recommendation regarding the construction of a new Sanctuary Building, the purpose of the meeting will be to act upon that recommendation.
On Monday the April 16th the Building Committee will be meeting to review the bids. Based on the outcome of the bidding process, the committee will make a recommendation to the Session.
The Session will then meet and act upon the recommendation of the committee.
Assuming this recommendation will be to proceed with construction, it will be brought to the Congregation at the called meeting.
